CLPS KICKS OFF INTERNSHIP TRAINING PROGRAM FOR THE CLASS OF 2021 ACROSS CHINA

The internship program has been an integral part of CLPS’s talent creation program since its establishment. It is an effective solution to meet the demand of diversified business and to improve the matching degree of talents. Prior to formally join CLPS, the interns undergo tailor-made and comprehensive training program to ensure that they are set for the actual needs of the job.

As China has largely controlled the spread of COVID-19, the internship training program of CLPS has officially begun as scheduled last August 2020 across China including in Shanghai, Dalian, and Guangzhou. In the span of eight weeks, the interns covered IT skills, business knowledge, cutting-edge technology in the industry vertical, and English communication skills courses. Among the courses, the IT skills training includes Java core technology, front-end technology, Mainframe technology, and quality management among others. Some of the courses were conducted online for the first time this year.

After a rigorous pre-selection process, more than 70 outstanding students, class of 2021, from the partner universities in China have advanced as the first batch to undergo the internship training program during the summer break. Upon completion of the above-mentioned training, qualified interns will officially join the CLPS family. Afterwards, the interns will be deployed in various industry client base such as in banking and financial institutions, giving them the opportunity to work in actual project development and implementation.

With more than ten years of partnership with domestic universities for internship training program, CLPS was able to establish CLPS College, introduce the “CLPS Virtual Bank Training System” (CLB), which independently and academically designed and developed by CLPS for training financial IT professionals, and establish training centers. Recently, CLPS has reached a partnership with the Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi). The implementation of IT talent training program in Hong Kong is one of the goals of the partnership to attract more outstanding young talents to join CLPS.
