Highlights of Raymond’s interview:
Credit card system upgrade
“CLPS is currently developing a new credit card system that uses distributed micro-services and multi-module combination to serve more banks or financial institutions in a smaller volume. It is expected to be launched by the end of this year, mainly targeting small and medium banking institutions.”
Loan origination system development
“We aim to develop an independent loan origination system, which can be separated from the deposit system. In order to reduce the operating costs of banks and cut the volume of the system itself, the origination system may also involve distributed micro-services and SaaS elements. The project is expected to start in 2022.”
“Digital currency or virtual asset has gained popularity over the years, and I believe that there will be considerable opportunity for future development in this area. We recently established a subsidiary that focuses in providing blockchain-based solutions for financial institutions. It mainly caters to the custody and exchange of digital assets, and has already generated revenue this year.”
